A new tradition I have is driving by our lot on the way home from work each day. I was super excited today as I headed over because they were supposed to start digging. There was a torrential downpour last night, but it didn't rain all day and for the second day in a row the temperature was up in the 60s. Yesterday would have been the perfect day because it was warm and dry, but today would have been great too! Unfortunately as I turned the corner, I noticed there weren't any construction trucks in front of our lot. booo. :( I was a little bummed especially since tomorrow the high is in the 20s and it is supposed to snow again.
I still have hope that they will get started sometime this week. I thought that we would have heard from our SR by now to give up a more recent update. We haven't heard from her since our pre-construction meeting. I am just so anxious/excited for everything to get started!

I am guessing that waiting for each step of the house build is kind of like waiting for labor - the more you think about it the more anxious you become, but you still can't control when things happen. And yet, no matter how much anyone tells you to relax or that it will happen soon, you want that darn baby out (or the construction workers to start digging).
