Updates All Around

The House

We have been by the house every day, but it has been hard to get pictures because of all the equipment out front or it was too dark.  We went by this evening just in time to get a couple shots before it got too dark.  A lot happens in a few days.

We now have a roof, insulation, the beginnings of a porch and all the windows and a temporary door are in!  I am curious to know if the estimated finish date is the same.  They got started a week late, but things seem to be moving quickly.  I can't wait to walk through with our PM.
The back of the house with the fireplace and morning room.
Next week they will install the roofing, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical.

Pregnancy

Our little princess is officially full term and I have hit the point where I am just ready for her to come.  I have been completely exhausted lately.  I have been having a hard time sleeping at night so I am tired and irritable during the day.  I feel like my little kindergarteners are testing my patience lately, but I know it is just exhaustion causing it.  I also have no motivation to get stuff done when I get off work.  I feel like an emotional mess lately.

Besides being exhausted, I feel ok physically.  I have started getting contractions.  Painful?  Yes. Regular? No.  It seems like they are worse in the evening.  Hopefully that means my body is getting ready for her arrival and she will be here soon!

School

As of Thursday, I officially have a long term sub.  The sub that was going to do it ended up getting hired on full time at our school!  I am so happy for her, but sad I don't get her.  This other sub seems like she will be a good match for my class though.  I have my plans ready and my daily schedule written up.  She is coming in to observe me on Monday and Tuesday and then I will be ready to hand my class over to her.

Husband

He is being as amazing as ever.  He has really stepped up where I have been slacking.  He does most of the cooking, cleaning and laundry now.  I sure am lucky!  Most of all...he puts up with my emotional ups and downs.  I sure love him!

Wow I can't believe how far the house is coming!! It looks awesome! Hurray for being full term! We can't wait to meet that sweet baby girl! You have every right to be tired, it is hard work carrying a baby! People always told me don't rush to get the baby out because then you will be even more tired. I completely disagree I would ten times rather have a newborn then be 37+ weeks pregnant. Let me know if you need anything:)
